32 Signal Company 1940–1947 (World War II) The 32nd Signal Company was constituted on 1 October 1933 in the Regular Army as the 32nd Signal Company and activated on 1 June 1941 at Camp Bowie, Texas. During World War II, the company was assigned to the 32nd Infantry Division and provided critical communications support throughout the division’s campaigns in the Pacific Theater. The 32nd Signal Company participated in major operations including the Papua, New Guinea, Leyte, and Luzon campaigns. Following the end of hostilities, the company was inactivated on 28 February 1946 in Japan.
