Yeager Militaria
Authentic WWII insignia, uniforms, field gear and edged weapons, researched and identified by a serious collector.
About the Collector
My name is Tom Yeager. I've been collecting militaria for over 15 years, with a primary focus on WWII U.S. insignia: Shoulder Sleeve Insignia (SSI), Distinctive Unit Insignia (DUI), Awards, and Badges. As well as uniforms, field gear, and edged weapons from all combatants of the Second World War.
My passion for World War Two started in my Uncle's basement, where my grandparents' WWII uniforms are proudly displayed with my Uncle's collection. The basement was filled with souvenirs, helmets, bayonets, and all manner of field gear from the Civil War to the Modern Era. In his basement history came alive and we were able to wear and explore all the items and hear stories of our family and friends' experiences in war.
New items are added weekly. If you don't see a piece you're looking for, please reach out. I may well have it.
I have sold hundreds of items on eBay with excellent feedback under the seller name opquicksilver. Yeagermilitaria.com was built to go further: to share knowledge, list more items at better prices, make trading easier, and connect with fellow collectors.
Buying Collections & Individual Items
I actively purchase both individual items and complete collections. My primary interest is U.S. insignia, uniforms, and field gear, but I am interested in material from all WWII participants. Whether you're a veteran's family, a fellow collector looking to downsize, or an estate handling inherited militaria, I welcome the conversation.
I am interested in: U.S. SSI, DUI, collar brass, qualification badges, ribbons and medals, complete uniforms, field gear, canteens, packs, helmets, gas masks, and edged weapons from all WWII combatants: American, German, Japanese, British, and others.
Please contact me with a description and photos. All inquiries are handled promptly and confidentially.
Authenticity
Every item listed on this site has been individually researched, identified, and authenticated to the best of my ability using primary reference materials, known examples, and decades of hands-on experience. I draw on one of the most comprehensive personal reference libraries in the hobby, including the full ASMIC DUI catalog series, Capistrano's four-volume Distinctive Insignia of the United States Army, the complete Army Lineage Series published by the U.S. Army Center of Military History, and many others.
If you believe an item has been misidentified -- whether a wrong unit attribution, an incorrect period date, or a variant I've missed -- I genuinely want to know. This hobby advances through shared knowledge, and I welcome corrections from fellow collectors.
Contact me here with your findings. I will respond promptly.
