How do you verify the authenticity of your items?
Every item is physically examined against known reference materials, documented hallmarks, and manufacturer records. I cross-reference catalog numbers, construction methods, and materials against period-correct specifications. Items showing signs of reproduction are rejected. I only list items I am confident are original period pieces.
What is the difference between a DUI and a DI?
DUI stands for Distinctive Unit Insignia and is the current official Army term. DI stands for Distinctive Insignia and was the older term. They refer to the same item: a small metal device worn on the uniform to identify a soldier's regiment or battalion. Many collectors still use both terms interchangeably.
How should I store military collectibles?
Metal insignia should be stored in a cool, dry environment away from humidity. Acid-free display cases prevent tarnishing. Cloth patches should be kept flat and away from light in archival-quality sleeves or UV-protective frames. Avoid basements and attics where temperature and humidity fluctuate.
What factors affect the value of WWII military items?
The main value drivers are rarity, condition, provenance, and collector demand. Named items with documented unit histories command premium prices. Hallmarked pieces from known manufacturers are more desirable. Theater-made or foreign-manufactured variants can also carry premiums.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I ship internationally via USPS with tracking. Import duties are the buyer's responsibility.
