The regiment served with distinction in France, participating in several major campaigns including Aisne-Marne, Oise-Aisne, Meuse-Argonne, and Champagne 1918. After the war, the unit was demobilized in 1919 but was reorganized in the Michigan National Guard in 1921. The 119th Field Artillery was again federalized for service during World War II, where it was assigned to the 32nd Infantry Division and participated in the Pacific Theater, including the New Guinea and Luzon campaigns. Following World War II, the regiment underwent several reorganizations and continues to serve as part of the Michigan Army National Guard. Sources: Wikipedia. (2023). 119th Field Artillery Regiment.
