Unit History

The 36th Field Artillery Regiment was constituted on 5 July 1918 in the National Army and organized at Camp McClellan, Alabama. The regiment was demobilized on 13 February 1919 following the end of World War I. It was reconstituted on 1 October 1933 in the Regular Army.
