Unit History
The 32nd Infantry Regiment was constituted on 1 July 1916 in the Regular Army and organized on 7 August 1916 at the Presidio of San Francisco, California. The regiment served in the Philippines during World War I and later participated in the defense of the Bataan Peninsula during World War II, where it earned the Philippine Presidential Unit Citation.
