Unit History
The 11th Field Artillery Regiment was constituted on 1 July 1916 in the Regular Army and organized on 1 June 1917 at Douglas, Arizona. The regiment served with distinction during World War I as part of the 6th Division, participating in the Meuse-Argonne and Alsace campaigns.
