In World War I, the regiment was designated as the 103rd Field Artillery and assigned to the 26th Division, participating in major campaigns such as Champagne-Marne, Aisne-Marne, St. Mihiel, and Meuse-Argonne. During World War II, the regiment was reorganized, with its elements serving in the European Theater.
